About Me

I have worked as a counsellor for a national bereavement agency since 2004. Bereavements are a big part of my life story; I know how it feels losing somebody very close. I am also working as a supervisor for this agency.
For a time I worked with Family Focus in North Cheam, which is an agency that supports parents of children that are five years and under. Here counselling and support is offered with any issue ranging from bereavement, abuse, addiction to parenting classes.
I have also worked at Magic Roundabout in Kingston, a youth agency that offers counselling and support to young people. As a result of this experience I developed respect for the determination and courage my young clients showed when dealing with change.
Since finishing my Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Counselling at Guildford College, I have started a Private Practice in New Haw working with individuals facing a wide range of issues or dilemmas, from crisis to personal development.
As part of my continuing professional development I attend workshops and training days every year.
I am a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I work according to their codes and ethics.
